1. Warm-up (5 minutes)
Start by asking students, "How are you today?" to practice a basic greeting.
To introduce the topic, ask them simple questions like, "What is your favorite room?" or "Do you have a big family?" The goal is to get them thinking about their own living spaces.

Activity 1: "My Dream Home" (10 minutes)
Hand out the blank house floor plan worksheets.
Instruct students to draw and label different rooms and furniture in their dream home.
Walk around the room and help them with new words as needed.
Activity 2: "Preposition Detective" (10 minutes)
This activity focuses on prepositions of place (in, on, under, next to).
Place a small object (like a pencil or eraser) somewhere in the room.
Ask a student, "Where is the pencil?"
The student must answer using a complete sentence, like, "The pencil is on the desk" or "The pencil is under the chair."
You can also have students give each other instructions, e.g., "Put the book on the table."
Activity 3: "House Tour" (5 minutes)
Ask students to describe a room in their own house.
Provide sentence starters like, "In my bedroom, there is a..." or "My kitchen has..."
Encourage them to use as many vocabulary words as possible.
4. Wrap-up (5 minutes)
Review the vocabulary by playing a quick game. Say a word in Czech, and have the students say it in English.
